With the sturdiness of an all weather doormat and the plush good looks of a rug, shag mats bring texture and traction to any space. They are made by tufting our TerraStrand yarns onto a primary backing and then bonding this looped top layer to a sturdy, slip-resistant base of hardworking vinyl, eliminating the need for a rug pad. Made to retain their rich textures and distinctive hues through many years of use, shag mats are quick to dry, free of phthalates, and resistant to staining, fading, mold, mildew, and chlorine. They are ideal for entryways, mudrooms, kitchens, bathrooms, porches, patios, pool areas, and beyond. The signature shag texture is created by our stain resistant TerraStrand yarns, which are tufted in loops onto a primary backing and then bonded to a sturdy base layer. No rug pad needed. A waterproof vinyl backing prevents slipping and curling without adding bulk. At just 0.25 inches thick, shag mats fit easily under most doors. Shag mats are quick to dry.
