Beautiful Japanese studio pottery vase signed Eito (榮東) on the base. Features a warm reddish-brown iron glaze with delicate white and green floral design over a subtle crackle finish. The interior and base reveal a classic celadon green glaze, a hallmark of mid-century Japanese artistry blending ancient Chinese influences with modern design.
Crafted circa 1950–1970, likely at the Eito kiln in Japan’s Seto or Arita region. Measures approximately 7″ tall. Excellent vintage condition; fine craquelure is intentional and characteristic of the glaze.
