A genuine Shohonyama 正本山合砥 Okudo 奧殿 suita 巢板 from one of the most respected mines in the Nakayama range. This classic yellow-tan suita displays beautiful renge (lotus) patterning with reddish-brown lines and subtle black specks – typical of high-quality Okudo nest-layer stones.

**Condition note**: There is a small notch/chip in the lower middle area of one long side (clearly visible in the photo). This flaw is located on the edge and can be completely avoided during normal sharpening strokes, leaving the vast majority of the large 130 × 91 mm surface perfectly usable.
