This is one of several beautiful jewelry items that belonged to my mother. I have had them simply sitting in a box in a closet but I now believe it is better that they be worn and appreciated by someone who will love them. She had exquisite taste in jewelry and just in general.
This is a beautiful vintage lavender jade and 14K gold necklace. The color is between a lavender and violet and purple.. Absolutely lovely and rich.
There are 48 individual jade beads that are about 8mm in diameter. There are 23 small gold 14K beads that are spaced every two jade beads. It is 18 1/2" long. The clasp is 14K gold.
