Mens SEIKO Vintage 1975 Mechanical Set & Autowind 17j 6109 Stainless Steel 38x42

This is a vintage mechanical Seiko from 1975. It starts with a heavy tonneau shaped stainless steel case measuring 38mm by 42mm. The case has a brushed finish with unmolested sharp lines and a recessed crown at the 4. The dial has a frosted white look with a snowflake like inner track which has raised steel markers with dark brown inserts as well as a day/date window at the 3. The movement, Seiko's 6109, one of Seiko's 61xx series that features all alloy construction, no plastic, having 17 jewels and balance protection. Endlessly serviceable this Seiko has had a recent service and keeps decent time for a watch of its era. The band is the expansion twist and flex type made of stainless steel with a nickel look finish. This combo will fit a wrist up to 8". This Seiko, although almost a half century old, still looks like new on the wrist.
