This specific piece is a medium, low standard open compote manufactured by the Portland Glass Company, which operated from 1863-1873. It is manganese glass that glows nicely under a 365nm UV light. It is 4.5” high with a mouth 6.25” in diameter. It is in good condition with only a few minor scratches.
