Vintage 1968 “Youth Electronics” GE Orange & Mustard Striped Hippy Clock Radio

Collectors Alert! This Vintage RARE GE Clock Radio just screams late 60s early 70s with its groovy psychedelic orange and mustard lines and its hippy-esque font used for all the numerals! Also, check out those funky clock hands…nice touch! The entire case is in orange plastic with a clear square plastic lens to protect the clock face. The AM only radio tuning dial is large and in good shape. So is the volume dial below it. I love the orange color of the dials.

This particular clock radio by GE is part of their “Youth Electrictronics” line marketed to kids back in the day. Because kids used these clock radios, many of them ended up in horrible condition or in landfills. I’m happy to report that both the clock and the radio on this one work still, but the alarm does not. Also, take note of the various nicks and scrapes and 1 chipped out piece on the right side. Measures 11 long by 5 high by 4 deep.
