Gorgeous vintage coat made with curly black Swakara (an abbreviation of south-west african karakul) lambswool, with beautiful contrasting genuine mink collar and cuffs, by Dittrich. Excellent condition. It's hard to capture in photos how shiny and luscious the wool looks. Hard to date precisely. Likely from around the middle of last century.
Fastens with elastic loops around elaborate buttons, all in great condition. Two open pockets on front. Black lining with diamond pattern. Monogrammed by previous owner, with additional lovely embroidery of a daffodil. Appears to have been cleaned since most recent wearing.
Some shedding of mink fur from middle of collar.
