Vintage sterling pendant necklace with glossy magnetic hematite-style beads and deep burgundy gemstone beads. The center teardrop pendant is sterling silver set with a rich red cabochon and finished with a granulated tip.
The burgundy beads and pendant stone test in the garnet range on the Presidium gem tester, with natural inclusions and color consistent with garnet or a similar gemstone.
Strung on wire with small sterling spacer beads. Filigree sterling fishhook clasp stamped Sterling. Pendant is stamped 925. The hematite-style beads are magnetic, consistent with composite hematite used in vintage jewelry.
Necklace is approx. 16" long. Beads are about 6.2–6.4 mm. Pendant is approx. 11/16" long. Weight is 36.5 grams. Excellent vintage condition with natural patina. Please see photos.
